My approach draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as the foundation, along with elements of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) — both of which are rooted in CBT. Together, these methods help clients build practical skills, strengthen self-awareness, and make real changes that hold up over time. I am collaborative and grounded in my style, and I stay actively involved in the work — helping people get a clear picture of what is driving their struggles and figure out next steps that actually feel manageable.
My clients are adults dealing with depression, anxiety, OCD, trauma, intimate partner violence, relationship problems, and the kinds of major life changes that can leave a person feeling lost or stuck. I have a particular interest in perinatal mental health, including anxiety and depression related to pregnancy, childbirth, and pregnancy loss.
Life can feel derailed by the demands of a new baby, a strained relationship, unmet expectations, or circumstances beyond your control. Whether you are up against something enormous, grieving a loss, or just feeling unlike yourself, I believe that gaining perspective is central to the process of healing. I place a high value on building a therapeutic relationship grounded in safety and understanding — one that gives you room to grow and develop real resilience.
