Supervisee in Clinical Social Work

I am a Supervisee in Clinical Social Work, currently working toward my Clinical Social Work License after receiving my Master’s in Clinical Social Work. Since I am under supervision, I am able to offer a reduced rate to clients who are out-of-network with Anthem or Aetna. I work with adolescents (ages 12+), teens, and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, major life transitions, and the lasting impacts of traumatic events.

As a therapist, my goal is to create a space that is rooted in safety and non-judgment. I understand that seeking help takes courage, and I prioritize making sure my clients feel comfortable expressing themselves in therapy. I believe that each individual is the expert of their own experience, and I am honored to be someone they can confide in. I have been described as approachable, easy to talk to, and genuine—qualities I aim to bring into my practice.

With over three years of experience in mental health, I have worked in a variety of outpatient and community settings. My experience includes supporting adults and teens with significant trauma histories, such as childhood abuse, sexual assault, and traumatic grief. I find deep fulfillment in helping clients identify thought and behavior patterns that once served as coping mechanisms, but may no longer be helpful in the present. I have a particular passion for working with individuals who have experienced intimate partner violence, struggle with self-esteem issues, or struggle with chronic worry and overthinking.

Personal:

When I’m not doing clinical work, you can often find me immersed in music—whether listening to my favorite records or attending live concerts. Growing up, many of my family members were “Dead Heads,” and their passion for live music had a lasting impact on me. I also enjoy exploring new foods and discovering new restaurants around my city. These activities bring me joy and a sense of connection to the world outside of my work.
