I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a strengths-based, solution-focused approach to help adolescents, teens, and adults work through a variety of mental health and life challenges. With over four years of experience, I have had the opportunity to work with clients from all age groups, backgrounds, and presenting problems. I work to ensure a safe environment where my clients’ boundaries, identities, and preferences are acknowledged and respected. As a Black female therapist, I understand the importance of culturally responsive care and am committed to creating an inclusive space where every client feels seen and supported.

Work History: I earned my Masters in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. I have worked in a school setting, helping kids set attainable goals for themselves and find the motivation to reach them. I also had the opportunity to work with survivors of brain injuries in a mock-work environment to help them prepare for their future and practice daily skills. I have worked in an inpatient psychiatric setting, mainly with children and teens. During this time, I provided case management and facilitated groups. I have two years of experience in intensive in-home counseling, outpatient therapy, and clinical assessments.

Personal: In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, reading, writing, and watching movies. I am always open to learning new things and am currently working on my French skills. I enjoy anime, getting tattoos, spending time with my pets, and laughing.
