Supervisee in Clinical Social Work

With over four years of experience in the mental health and social work fields, I have had the opportunity to work with a variety of clients from all age groups, backgrounds, and presenting problems. I earned my Masters in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University and I am close to completing my 3,000 hours of supervised clinical experience to complete my Clinical Social Work License. I provide therapy to adolescents (10+), teens, and adults with a variety of mental health and life challenges such as anxiety, depression, panic attacks, trauma, and more. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and solution-focused. I work to ensure a safe environment where my client’s boundaries, identities, and preferences are acknowledged and respected.

Work History: I have worked in a school setting, helping kids set attainable goals for themselves and find the motivation to reach them. I also had the opportunity to work with survivors of brain injuries in a mock-work environment to help them prepare for their future and practice daily skills. I have worked in an inpatient psychiatric setting, mainly with children and teens. During this time, I provided case management and facilitated groups. I have two years of experience in intensive in-home counseling, outpatient therapy, and clinical assessments.

Personal: In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, reading, writing, and watching movies. I am always open to learning new things and am currently working on my French skills. I enjoy anime, getting tattoos, spending time with my pets, and laughing.
